Jạvorov, Pejo Kratscholow, eigentlich P. Krạtscholow, bulgarischer Lyriker und Dramatiker, * Tschirpan (bei Dimitrowgrad) 13. 1. 1878, ✝ (Selbstmord) Sofia 16. 10. 1914; nahm 1902/03 am Befreiungskampf in Makedonien teil (Biographie des makedonischen Freiheitskämpfers »Goce Delčev«, 1904; deutsch »Gotze Deltschew«); einer der bedeutendsten bulgarischen Lyriker, der mit seinem Gedichtband »Bezsǎnici« (1907) als Mitbegründer des Symbolismus in der bulgarischen Literatur gilt. Sein von H. Ibsen und A. Strindberg beeinflusstes dramatisches Schaffen trug wesentlich zur Entwicklung der bulgarischen Dramatik bei. In »V polite na Vitoša« (1911; deutsch »Am Fuße des Witoscha«) und »Kogato grǎm udari« (1912) gestaltet er realistisch Probleme der zeitgenössischen bulgarischen Gesellschaft.
